Displaying some of my fossil collection

My modest fossil collection is not accessible ( in boxes ) and most of it is not show worthy. But there are some that I would love to show off. So, I collected all my trays that might work to display them, Here is what I came up with!

Box 1 is a mixed assortment of fossils.

This is a mix of deciduous and coniferous leaves which I thought was good value for my money. Purchased at the museum of nature in Ottawa.

This one is fern leaves fossils that I got at the museum of nature in Ottawa.

This is a fossil of an unknown creature making tunnels in the sea bed floor. Found at Blue Beach in Nova Scotia ( the one place you are allowed to collect in the province! )

My sad trilobite collection. Most of these I got in purchased kits.

Hard to see, but these are tiny ostropods are from Blue Beach

A delicate fossil of a fish that I purchased at the museum of Nature in Ottawa

Algae from a kit

A tree slice collected at Blue Beach

Deciduous leaf fossil

The second box I got at a thrift store. It will hold my ammonite collection. Although ammonites are one of the most prolific fossils found, they are usually very beautiful, and make an impressive display.

This one I purchased at the museum of nature in Ottawa

These are ammonites that are polished, location unknown.

This ammonite came from a kit.

This collection of small ammonites were from kits.

Until I have more fossils, I will have this little info card in the box.

These I purchased and although they are beautiful, I don't know where they came from.

This next box I am still picking what fossils will be placed in. This is what I have so far.

This fish vertebra I purchased at the museum of
nature in Ottawa
.

Polished cephalopods I also got at the museum of nature in Ottawa

This leaf fossil I bought at a shop but alas, it didn't have a location.

All that I have to do is type out some nice cards to identify each fossil, and then hang them up on my wall!
